An evening with the Range Rover Autobiography
Rather out of the blue, I'd arranged to photograph a colleague's Range Rover autobiography and yet again, I was blown away by the quality and sheer luxury of the vehicle. It's a car I've never particularly been interested in myself, but it's very easy to understand why Range Rovers are so popular on UK roads. Passengers are treated to plush leather seats with full adjustability, a range of entertainment features and an unbelievably smooth ride. It's almost like riding on a cloud, if a cloud was powered by a throaty 4.4L diesel V8...
Being part of brand's the Autobiography line, this Range Rover boasts numerous additional features such as illuminated tread plates, in car entertainment screens, and even four-zone climate control. Coming from my own car that doesn't currently have working air con, being a passenger in the Range Rover is one truly comfortable and lush experience. I often forget how low I'm used to being on the road, so the Range Rover's mightily high seating position certainly added to my confidence as a passenger.
This gorgeous champagne colour proved to be rather interesting to photograph, as it's quite far from a traditional primary colour and was certainly a challenge to enhance in post production. Overall, I'm very pleased with the shots we managed to capture and would gladly take this Range Rover Autobiography out for another shoot.
