Exclusive JDM: The Quality Car Show

Whilst I enjoy most aspects of car culture, exclusivity is something that's always intrigued me in the world of car shows. A large number of individuals aren't too keen on the idea of "vetting" entries to shows, but the benefits of doing so certainly speak for themselves. A prime example of where this works wonders is with the Exclusive JDM shows at The Motorist Hub.

When you arrive at an Exclusive JDM show, you're instantly presented with a very organized set up and dozens of incredible modified Japanese cars. Every single car on display has been cleaned, is tastefully modified with high-end or unique parts, and is clearly taken care of. These cars aren't trailer queens either, with the majority of them sporting the usual signs of wear and tear, a clear sign that they've still been driven as intended.

One thing that caught me off guard was the sheer number of clean Nissan Silvias. I've genuinely never seen so many of them gathered in one place, with that level of quality. You'll also find a few wildcards in the mix too, including old Datsuns, AE86 Toyota Corollas, and Honda CRXs. With the British Drift Championship team being in attendance, you'll also find a few drift missiles sneakily lurking on the turf. We're talking big wings, wild engine swaps, loud exteriors, and crazy angle.... perfect.

If you're a bit of a wheel nerd, you'll find an Exclusive JDM show heavenly. I can't describe how many times I've stopped to take a photo of a wheel, there are simply too many awesome setups on display. You'll find a mix of iconic JDM wheels like the Work Emotion CR Kiwami, or legendary Advan GTs, as well as stylish new entries to the market from the likes of Enkei, Rota, and Japan Racing.

If you like your Japanese cars and can admire a true build, get yourself down to the next exclusive JDM show! All details about future shows can be found on their social media or website.

While you're here, why not check out my photos from the Summer social event?
